Sometimes
By Bilal Bikile

When I think about death, I'm happy.

But when I think about life, I wish I could just die.

Not because life sucks, but because it's so beautiful it hurts... and I can't bare losing it.

When I think about death, however, it makes me cherish the present moment.

Strive to live a life that allows me to reach God's light after he takes his sight from my eyes.

Only then do l feel weightless, like I can breathe again.

I'm grounded when I think about becoming one with the soil, and my soul, one with the sky.
